REVIEWS (behind the cut):
1. Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie (2005)
Pooh and his friends Piglet, Rabbit, Tiger, Roo, and Eeyore invite their new Heffalump friend Lumpy to experience his first Halloween with the group. But there are complications when Tigger scares Lumpy so much he doesn’t want to go outside and when Pooh accidentally eats all the candy. This was actually rather adorable. Great for kids in the traditional Pooh fashion, while managing to not be so annoying as to be unwatchable for adults.
2. The Lincoln Lawyer (2011)
A lawyer, played by Matthew McConaughey, takes on a case of a man he thinks is innocent, only to find himself trapped in a sticky, dangerous web when he finds out his client may be less innocent than he seems.
Admittedly, I kind of half watched this while it played on TV. It presented an interesting thriller, but wasn’t terribly original. So, it didn’t suck me into the story the way some movies can.
3. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
Discussed elsewhere.
